When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.

3 out of 4 ain't bad haha

DooM LAN almost finished and working properly, in time for the event. Had some very "interesting" times with drive alternatives, network cards, etc haha.

Got to play with some awesome modern innovations I haven't used before.

Check out Unisound universal sound driver for most (not all) old cards. Super quick and easy sound. https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?t=72553

Checkout mTCP, a lightweight TCP/IP stack for dos to use with your packet driver. https://www.brutman.com/mTCP/

Hi everyone! 🙂

We're proud to announce that we have been in touch, and begun an association with, the Vintage Computer Federation (https://www.facebook.com/vcfederation & vcfed.org). We'll update our event page soon to reflect the association. This provides the organisers of this event access to their extensive experience and support to make this and future events even better.

Also, you can access the VCF Discord and connect with vintage computer enthusiasts all over the globe (ok, mostly the US, but they are growing and we are not the first international VCF group). Here is the invitation to the VCF discord: https://discord.gg/bVvY75xk

Exciting times! Please share our event page as much as you can! https://fb.me/e/xGRvNsg6r

Working on the DooM LAN exhibit!

This machine is an Australian designed and built 486dx33 from Terran Computers/Microbyte. A Lyrebird Model 442. Very special!

You'll be able to Deathmatch on it 😂

You know you've "made it" when the spammers/scammers start targeting you 😅.

We've received several messages to our inbox and at least one post was made to our timeline. We're onto them quick 😉.

Just be careful not to click any links they might put in their posts if you do manage to see them before I BFG9000 them from cyber existence. You'll know our genuine posts when you see them 😉.
